A PUBLIC INTEREST GROUPING TO MANAGE THE EVENT

A Public Interest Group was established in 2022 for the organisation of the Millennium celebrations.

ORGANISATION AND OPERATION

A Public Interest Grouping (GIP) is a legal entity under public law with administrative and financial autonomy. The Normandy Region, the Department (County) of Calvados, the City of Caen, the Caen la Mer Urban Community, the University of Caen Normandy and the Caen Normandy Chamber of Commerce and Industry are the members of the Millénaire Caen 2025 GIP.

The constituent agreement was approved by the Governor on 3rd July 2023.
